Iridium advises that 9555 phone users should not use the Iridium PPP modem that is auto-configured with Direct Internet. Remove the PPP modem and add a standard 19200 modem, associating the new modem with the PC COM port of the 9555 USB connection.

Customer couldn't get IP connection using Explorer 100 BGAN with Mac. Customer was running Leopard with VMFusion.We installed VMFusion on our Mac, tested, and found that VMFusion is not compatible with USB drivers for Explorer 100. Removed VMFusion from test Mac and was able to get IP connection again.
