Iridium 9555 Satellite Phone Group Rentals

The Iridium 9555 satellite phone is a no-frills workhorse Iridium satellite phone and is also our most popular rental. Group rental discounts depend on the number of phones rented and the duration of the rental. It provides reliable global coverage for voice and SMS messaging even in mountainous terrain. Shared bundles of airtime can be purchased for the entire group of phones, and the shared bundle is valid for the entire rental period. US Number Access is another option. Our Iridium 9555 rental kit includes everything you will normally need, but optional magnetic-mount or mast-mount external antennas, extra batteries and watertight Pelican transport cases can be arranged by special quote. Iridium Extreme® PTT (Push-to-Talk) Group Rentals

Iridium Push-to-Talk is intended for groups of workers that need instantaneous group wide voice communication. This service is designed to work in a manner similar to land mobile radios except with global coverage. The shortest rental plan is 4 months (with the first month pro-rated), but a much lower monthly-cost plan is available with a 12-month minimum term commitment. Bivy Stick Satellite Messenger Group Rentals

The Bivy Stick is an ultra-light 3.4 oz device that can send and receive short messages over the global Iridium satellite network. Like all Iridium devices, a Bivy Stick can work virtually anywhere. All you need is a clear view of the sky. It is very tough and reliable and has an amazing IP67 rating against water and dust intrusion. Normally, the Bivy Stick is intended to be used in conjunction with Bluetooth-capable iPhone or Android smartphones, but even if a smartphone is unavailable, a built-in S.O.S. button allows you to declare an emergency by sending a message with your GPS location to Global Rescue. If a smartphone with the Bivy Stick app installed is available, you can communicate via text message with Global Rescue to describe your emergency and receive further guidance. Another safety feature is a built-in Check-In button that lets you send a preset message to your friends so that they know you are OK. Every Bivy Stick has its own US mobile number which makes texting with cell phones easy.
