The new ACR ResQLink View PLB features an innovative digital display that shows real-time beacon status, GPS, and Galileo GNSS positioning details, making it easier to monitor your rescue process.
Smaller and lighter than the ACR ResQLink+, the ResQLink View remains buoyant, ensuring durability in challenging environments.
Features
Digital Display
The integrated display lets you track live beacon status and GPS coordinates throughout the rescue process.
Signal Transmission
With three levels of signaling—GPS positioning, a 406 MHz emergency signal, and a 121.5 MHz homing beacon—the ResQLink View ensures your location is quickly transmitted to search and rescue teams.
Strobe Light
The built-in strobe and infrared strobe enhance visibility during rescues in low-light or nighttime conditions.
Activation
Activating the beacon is simple: just deploy the antenna, press the button, and the beacon will do the rest, guiding rescuers to within 100 meters of your location.
Innovative Design
The ResQLink View includes multi-function clips, allowing versatile wearability for various applications, ensuring it’s easy to carry on your person or gear.
Battery and Operation
Powered by class 2 lithium batteries (non-hazmat), the PLB requires replacement every five years. Once activated, the beacon will transmit a GPS signal for over 24 hours.
Self-Test
The ResQLink View allows two types of self-tests to ensure optimal functionality. With just a push of a button, you can easily test the internal electronics and GPS system to verify readiness.
Subscription-Free
Unlike most satellite communication devices, the ACR ResQLink View PLB does not require monthly or annual subscription fees, making it one of the most cost-effective emergency beacons available. In the rare event of use, ACR will replace it free of charge.
Important Usage Notes
The ACR PLB is meant for life-threatening situations only. Misuse or false alerts can disrupt rescue services and result in penalties. If planning to use the beacon underwater beyond its stated depth, store it in a proper canister.
Registering Your ResQLink View PLB
Registration of your Personal Locator Beacon is legally required in most countries and is essential for efficient rescue operations. Once activated, rescuers will rely on this information to contact those familiar with your travel plans, speeding up response time. After receiving your programmed PLB, register it with the Cospas-Sarsat website to add your device to the International Beacon Registration Database (IBRD). You'll need your Beacon HEX ID number, located on both the device and its packaging.
