The ACR ResQlink 400 is a smaller, lightweight PLB that includes built-in buoyancy capabilities to help in an at-sea emergency. The ResQlink 400 features an innovative design that makes it easier to attach the beacon to your gear or person, enhancing safety during your adventures while keeping the beacon conveniently within reach.
Features
Integrated Signal Technology
The ACR ResQlink 400 offers three levels of signal transmission, including GPS positioning, a powerful 406MHz signal, and 121.5MHz homing beacon capabilities.
Strobe Light
Equipped with both a visible strobe and an infrared strobe system, the ResQlink 400 facilitates rescue efforts during nighttime or in low-visibility conditions.
Activation
To activate, deploy the antenna and press the ON button. The beacon will automatically handle the rest, guiding rescuers to within 100 meters or less of your location.
Innovative Design
The ResQlink 400 features multifunctional clips that allow for versatile attachment options, providing flexibility for various activities.
Batteries and Charging
Powered by class 2 (non-hazardous) lithium batteries, the PLB requires replacement every five years. After activation, the battery will continue transmitting GPS signals for over 24 hours. ACR also offers to replace your used PLB with a new one after submitting your story and returning the beacon to be placed on their Wall of Fame.
Self-Test
Routine self-testing is essential to ensure your PLB functions properly. The ResQlink 400 includes two built-in test functions to verify internal electronics and GPS functionality with the push of a button.
Subscription-Free
Unlike many satellite-enabled devices, the ACR ResQlink 400 PLB requires no monthly or annual subscription, making it a cost-effective GPS emergency beacon for long-term use. If you ever need to use it in an emergency, ACR will replace it for free.
Register Your ResQlink 400 PLB
Registration is required by law in most countries and is crucial for effective search-and-rescue operations. Registration provides essential information to rescuers, such as who you are and your planned route, reducing response time.
Once you receive your PLB, you must register it on the Cospas-Sarsat website by entering your unique Beacon HEX ID number found on the device and packaging.
